Froggatt and Curbar Edges

A 3-mile long gritstone escarpment

Froggatt Edge, Curbar Edge and Baslow Edge make up a 3-mile long gristone escarpment high above the valley of the River Derwent. At the top of the escarpment is a managed heather moor, which is purple with bloom in late summer.
